Be a Part

At this time, the opportunity and need for The Waymarks Ministry is for there to be funding for an ever growing cassette ministry to people in developing countries where God's work is fast breaking out -- and also to send the gospel forth by radio into regions of the world where even the cassettes have not gone.

We ask you to pray about being a worker with us. You yourself -- or your church -- may be led of the Lord to become a participant in the mighty thrust of end-time world evangelism -- and the part that the Waymarks Ministry is taking.

We Christians tend to think of our financial giving to our churches as being tithes and offerings -- and giving to other Christian work as contributions. But the Bible teaches us that all of our giving toward the work of Christ's kingdom is the same -- and it is giving to the Lord. For instance, the Apostle Paul, in I Corinthians, chapter 9, told the Corinthian Church that the Lord wanted them to send financial support to his work. And he was not even their pastor at that time. He was serving as a traveling evangelist, spreading the gospel into new regions where it had not been heard or fully established. And this is what Waymarks and other international radio ministries are doing today.

Then, in II Corinthians, chapters 8 and 9, Paul broadened his teaching about offerings to include giving to help supply the needs of Christians in other countries who were suffering great needs. Our Waymarks Ministry in African countries fits into this category. Paul was very strong in his argument, and even told the Corinthians that God would reward their giving. He said, "...he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully."

Please reflect on this question: are you reaping bountifully -- financially, spiritually and in all ways? I hope you are. But if you are not, it may be that the Lord is prompting you to begin to assume a bountiful attitude in your Christian giving -- or perhaps to re-evaluate where you are putting your offering. Is it going where it will do real good and accomplish the work that is truly a part of God's heart? Perhaps you should consider making Waymarks or some other international evangelistic work an integral part of your tithes and offerings. Will you pray about it, trusting God to give you the answer?

Waymarks is an independent ministry, not supported by any denomination or church. We send personal acknowledgments for all the offerings we receive. Our full financial statement is available on request. Also, our ministry is still small enough for Radio Pastor Loren Wilson to take the time to personally acknowledge letters of correspondence. So, we invite your inquiries, comments and conversation, by regular mail, e-mail, or phone.
